Yvette Landry LeBlanc is a dedicated community member with deep roots in Louisiana. Born in Houma and raised in Alexandria, she completed her high school education in Franklin before settling in Paincourtville, Assumption Parish, where she has made a significant impact since becoming involved with the Louisiana Ambulance Alliance (LAA) and the Louisiana Rural Ambulance Alliance (LRAA) in 2019. Married for 35 years to Dwayne LeBlanc, Yvette is a proud mother of two, Matthew, his wife Katie, and Laura, who emphasize the importance of family in her life.

Yvette’s service to her community extends beyond her role as a mother; she has been actively involved with the Paincourtville Volunteer Fire Department (PVFD) for over three decades. Her commitment started with her husband's tenure as fire chief for 12 years, during which she initiated the Ladies Auxiliary, enabling the wives of firefighters to contribute and participate in the department's activities. Yvette’s passion for community service is further exemplified by her involvement in programs like Uniform for Kids, aimed at supporting local children, and her active participation in her children’s small Catholic school and church.

A recipient of the 2012 Mother Seton Service Award from the Diocese of Baton Rouge, Yvette has shown her dedication to the community through various initiatives. Her background in nursing school has equipped her with the essential skills to assist individuals with healthcare needs, reflecting her compassionate nature. Additionally, her experience as a Homeless Housing Case Manager has made her a fervent advocate for mental health causes, ensuring that the vulnerable populations in her community receive crucial support.

Living in the same rural region as her parents, Yvette remains acutely aware of her community's needs and the importance of available services. She believes that organizations like the LRAA play a vital role in addressing these needs and enhancing the quality of life in rural areas. Yvette Landry LeBlanc's life is a testament to her unwavering commitment to service, community, and family as she inspires those around her with her dedication and compassion.
